How I Grade Sites

Whenever I review a T-Shirt site, I give it a score between 1 and 5, with 5 being the best. There are a number of factors I consider when scoring a site, inlcuding:

• Creativity and Uniqueness of T-Shirts - If its been done many times before, I will score the site lower.
• Genuinely Funny, Clever, or Just Plain Cool T-Shirts - If the shirts are blatantly offensive and not very funny, the site will recieve a lower score.
• Site Design - I actually take a good, hard look at the company's site design. Ease of navigation and good looks help a site to score higher. Presentation is important. A good first impression also helps.
• Who Runs It? - I tend to favor sites that include things like an about page and a mission statement.
• Other Goodies - Things like money back guarantees, low prices, and free shipping can boost an otherwise average site.

Here's what the scores mean:

• 5 - Top notch site to buy a T-Shirt. Highly recommended.
• 4 - Great site, not perfect, but still definitely worth buying from.
• 3 - Average site, worth buying from if it really appeals to you.
• 2 - Lacking, I wouldn't buy from here, but if it's exactly what you're looking for, it may be worth checking out.
• 1 - Poor. Craptastic. I don't know why anyone would buy a T-Shirt there.
